Home grown UAE brands have dominated YouGov BrandIndex’s first UAE Brand Advocacy rankings, which ranks brands that receive the highest recommendations from their own customers. From a pool of more than 410 major brands, the top 10 brands with the highest consumer recommendation levels were led by Emirates Airline at number one, followed by Emaar at number three. Etihad Airways in sixth place and Emirates NBD in tenth position. The future has arrived - driverless cars are officially here. Driverless cars are currently being trialled in Dubai, driverless taxis are being trialled in Singapore and the USA, while in the UK trials have also been approved in selected areas. In a new survey by YouGov for titled ‘Top Cities in the Middle East and North Africa’, both Dubai and Abu Dhabi ranked the highest for cities to live in. The ranking was based on several factors including economic, environmental, standard of living, socio-cultural, and entrepreneurship factors. The survey determined that the top 10 cities in the MENA are: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Eastern Province, Doha, Riyadh, Marrakech, Rabat, Jeddah, and Kuwait City.
